Firstly, let me share this photo I recently took at the Rockcliffe Winery in Denmark, where we ate, drank, and danced to the lively music of Cyclone Tracee. As I gazed at the magnificent tree from where I sat, I couldn’t help but be mesmerized. It symbolized growth, connection, and a rooted strength—qualities that resonate deeply with the journey of Nilla’s Italian Kitchen. Like the tree’s branches stretching toward the sky, this year holds endless possibilities to grow, share, and create beauty together.

It’s a tribute to the magic of the kitchen, where love and connection come alive in every dish.
This book is more than a read—it’s an invitation to transform how you experience food and life. Yesterday, I had the absolute honour of being interviewed by Serena Kirby from Aurora Magazine.
It was a privilege to sit down and share my story, my unwavering passion for cooking, and the journey that led to Nilla’s Italian Kitchen. As we chatted, I handcrafted Silk Handkerchief Pasta with Pesto—a dish steeped in simplicity and tradition—to share with Serena.
Our conversation flowed as easily as the pasta dough, delving into the vision behind Nilla’s Italian Kitchen and the deeper meaning it holds.
This experience was a beautiful reminder of how far this dream has come, from a simple idea to a community filled with connection, love, and shared memories.
It also reignited my excitement for the many unexplored paths and possibilities that lie ahead..

As these projects unfold, I’m feeling more inspired than ever to create new opportunities for connection through food.
While exciting plans are brewing—including new classes and events—our current break is a chance to recalibrate, reflect, and prepare for what’s to come.
Unfortunately, the hot weather isn’t conducive to pasta-making, but this time allows us to dream bigger and plan thoughtfully for cooler days ahead.
